1. Quest for an Empire
1. This cartoon shows how the United States wanted to build an empire. It shows the countries that the US wanted to claim. The eagle compared to all the countries is over-exaggerated, showing that the US is bigger than everyone else, and will try to dominate all of the smaller countries.

1. This picture portreys the Spanish-American war as a meal. Uncle Sam represents the US, and President McKinley serves the US. It tries to show how the Americans just picked a country, just off of a menu to capture.

1. This shows how the US has a grasp on other countries including the Caribbean, the Philippines, Hawaii, and Guam. The US does not give up, and will not give up until the countries are captured by the US.
